This is SILNT, a great design studio from Japan. This is there portfolio of there work from the past three years. It's pretty amazing.

SIPPING JETSTREAMS

This is my all time favorite movie when it comes to culture. The movie is titled "Sipping Jetstreams" and was produced by Taylor Steele. The movie is actually a surfing movie, but more so focuses on traveling and all the amazing places to see in this world. From Egypt to Japan, this movie is about as artistic as it gets. There is also a beautiful photography book that was created in collaberation with the movie, photographed by Dustin Humphrey. "The world is only a plane ticket away"

SPEAKING OF AD CAMPAIGNS

Speaking of ad campaigns from a while ago this has to be the best one ever created. The ad's made for BMW in 2002 bordered on something never seen before, Each short movie out of the series was directed and acted by world renowned film stars. This has to be the best one of the series. "ROCK STAR", they did such a amazing job at this campaign I don' know anyone who didn't find this astonishing. At 4:40 on, try to tell me you don't want a M5

NIKE

In the early 90's Nike had the best Commercials there was, and in the past five years the have gone through a serious lull. These are both incredible ad campaigns created in the last two years, King James has to be my favorite of the two though. 

LOOP PEDALS

This all thanks to youtube. I really can't believe I even found this. I listened to it about three times and the ending always threw me off until I realized the entire song was a jazz version of "smells like teen spirit" I could not believe this, this is incredible. 

NIKON D80

My Nikon D80, is probably the best camera I have ever owned. It is a stunning design and extremely light weight with a very strong body. With a price tag of $1000.00 straight out of the box, (you can find cheaper on the internet) the camera has a brilliant 10.2 megapixles with and option to shoot at a RAW setting or lower resolutions, there's not much this camera can not do. It holds up just a well in the studio as it does out in the field and can keep up with any entry level pro camera. 

FINGERPRINT

Fingerprint is a brand new book by, Chen Design Associates and HOW books. "the art of using handmade elements in graphic design" The 173 page highly illustrated book is full of incredible poster, package and print designs from the music and movie industries. The book covers everything from handmade fonts and drawings to silk screens, books and CD designs form the last four to five years.

Stop Action

www.get-out-and-play.com is an incredible stop action website, and an amazing flash website as well. It is actually an add campaign for Nokia, but you won't even notice it until the end. The designers got an entire town in France to participate in this, and it came out unbelievable.
